    CCH Tagetik is an Italian software vendor and solutions partner for CPM and finance-oriented corporate management which was founded in 1986 in Lucca (Italy) as a management consultancy. In 2017, Tagetik was acquired by Wolters Kluwer, a global company with revenues of 4.3 billion Euro in 2018 that provides information, software and services to a variety of industries, including the health, tax, accounting, risk and compliance, finance and legal sectors.

    OneStream XF

    OneStream Software is an independent US-based CPM software company headquartered in Rochester, Michigan. The vendor was founded by the people behind Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and UpStream Software, now known as Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM). OneStream started developing and building the software in 2008, initially as an R&D company that transformed into an operational company in 2010. Currently the vendor has seven offices in the US and Europe with a total of approximately 300 employees.     Founded in Canada in 1987, Prophix began as a software distributor implementing financial applications. In the year 2000, the organization released its own performance management software, also called Prophix, recognizing the market’s need for innovative planning and reporting systems. Today, Prophix has more than 230 employees worldwide and over 3,000 customers in more than 100 countries, covering all company sizes and industries. Prophix customers mainly come from North America, while approximately 350 are located in Europe.

Today SAP is one of the largest applications vendors worldwide. Its original strategy was to view BI as an extension of its all-inclusive ERP offerings. As a German SaaS company, Valsight enables enterprises to maximize their financial performance. The solution creates valuable insights based on data, supporting better and faster management decisions. Valsight provides companies with functionality to flexibly simulate financial plans, forecasts, or any scenario on the fly. The product does not require programming skills to be set up, integrates in existing infrastructures and can be implemented in a short timeframe. Global leaders such as Siemens, AIDA Cruises (part of Carnival Cruises) and Volkswagen rely on Valsight.

The company currently has a further 17 subsidiaries worldwide and a total of approximately 950 employees, with over 200 of them in research and development. Several major investors have financed Anaplan’s growth and global expansion.

Around 3,000 customers worldwide use BOARD to implement BI and planning projects. The company currently has a strong focus on internationalization, particularly by building up its presence in the United States.

    Prevero was originally founded as a consultancy in 1994. The company, now known as Unit4 Prevero, is based in Munich, Germany, and has approximately 250 employees as well as an international partner network. In recent years, Unit4 Prevero has grown into one of the largest CPM vendors in the DACH region in terms of software revenues, and claims to have a client base of 600 customers. Its growth has been largely organic but was also boosted considerably by the acquisition of software vendors Winterheller in 2011 and MIK in 2015. In 2016 Prevero itself agreed to be acquired by Unit4, a Dutch provider of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP) for service organizations.
